DARK AS NIGHT

                                                                                                Written by: Terry Thomas

Dark as Night

I once had no light, my day’s dark as night

As I tried to find my way all alone

Nothing seemed right, my heart so full of fright

Then I cried out, God help me, bring me home

The night turned into day

As I knelt there and prayed

To my God, can you help me find my way

And all the fear that I had known

In my heart was now gone

My God heard me, when I knelt and prayed

No more darkness do I see, now that God has found me

He has given unto me, eternal light

Look at all the wasted days, as I tried to find my way

Without my Savoir, my Lord, Jesus Christ

Yes the night turned into day

As I knelt there and prayed

To my God, can you help me find my way

And all the fear that I had known

In my heart was now gone

My God heard me, when I knelt and prayed

My God heard me, when I knelt and prayed

Amen
