Heavenly Father

Heavenly Father this was a blessed day

Thank you for giving me, and opportunity to pray

To my Lord and savior, my God up above

Thank you for giving me a chance to share my love

The world turns quickly as we arise to meet the day

Time moves so fast, sometimes we forget to pray

The reason is because we think were in control

Oh Yee of little faith, so little do we know

Father you must forgive us for the things we do in vain

Our failure to pray, the sins we commit, this life seems so insane

For we are just flesh and blood, perfect we are not

We pray you’ll forgive us for the things that we forgot.

Heavenly Father this was a blessed day

I pray you will forgive me for the times I failed to pray

For thinking that I could find my way without your love

I now know I am nothing without my Lord God above
