Leap of Faith

Leap of Faith

With the first few steps in life, the trail seemed ten miles wide

As I passed through the years, I see timber on both sides

With my last breath on earth, no sign can I find

I’m cold and alone, and I know its now my time

Someday we will all have to take

That step that they call the leap of faith

Trying to show were brave but we know

We tremble at the thought of letting go

Trying to find the strength, but it’s in vain

For the courage that we seek is in a name

Jesus is our savior; his path is deep and wide

Angels of mercy by his side

Let go of this life and you will find

The hands of the lord so warm and kind

He loves you and his love he’ll not forsake

Take his hand when you reach your leap of faith

Jesus is our savior he’s standing just outside

Open up your heart; let his teaching be your guide

You will never be alone or feel misplaced

Take his hand when you reach your leap of faith

You will never be alone or feel misplaced

If Jesus is the name you put your faith.
